Andrew J. Bruce is the senior vice president of capital markets for Behringer Harvard Holdings. He is responsible for managing the financing activities for Behringer Harvard programs, which includes the structuring and placement of commercial debt for new acquisitions and developments, assisting with the acquisition of debt investments, and for the refinancing of existing debt and fund level credit facilities. Mr. Bruce is also responsible for maintaining existing banking and lending relationships as well as cultivating new relationships. He is charged with analyzing and managing the programs’ use of derivatives and hedging instruments, and working with the programs’ real estate professionals in their efforts to analyze potential new development projects that the programs are considering.

From 1994 to 2006 Mr. Bruce worked for AMLI Residential Properties Trust. While at AMLI, Mr. Bruce was responsible for placing AMLI’s secured and unsecured debt and for overseeing the underwriting projections for new development projects. Mr. Bruce holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, and a CPA designation. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Heather E. McClure is vice president of capital markets for Behringer Harvard. She is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and negotiating project level financings for Behringer Harvard programs. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. McClure was a director at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company where she originated approximately $450 million in mortgages for Prudential’s general account, structured finance accounts, and conduit activities. From 1998 to 2002, Ms. McClure worked at Archon Financial, a Goldman Sachs company, where she was an underwriting associate. Ms. McClure started her career as an internal auditor for Texaco’s domestic and international downstream operations. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American studies from Texas A&M University.
