Programs Formed
Behringer Harvard REIT I, Inc. is formed in June. Behringer Harvard Short-Term Opportunity Fund I LP and Behringer Harvard Mid-Term Value Enhancement Fund I LP are formed in July. |

New Product Launch
Behringer Harvard is the first sponsor to offer individuals investment options in multiple, simultaneously-offered public, non-listed real estate programs. |

Opportunity I
Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I, Inc. is formed in November, the first opportunity-style nontraded REIT offered to individuals through the independent broker-dealer community. |

International Investment
Behringer Harvard Strategic Opportunity Funds I and II LP are formed in January and November, respectively. With the Strategic Opportunity Fund I, Behringer Harvard makes its inaugural investment overseas, launching its global investment capabilities
with a purchase of a strategic office asset in Amsterdam. |

Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT I, Inc. is formed. Its private offering commences in August. |

Opportunity II
Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT II, Inc. is formed in January. Opportunity REIT II is the company’s fifth value-added/opportunistic-style investment program. |

Multifamily IPO
Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT I, Inc.’s IPO is announced. Behringer Harvard is the first to seed a non-listed public REIT from equity raised in a private offering through the independent broker-dealer community.
Behringer Harvard Launches Global Platform
Behringer Harvard opens Behringer Harvard Europe in Hamburg, Germany. |
